It is with sadness that we note the passing of Neale Daniher on 25 May 2026. Neale died from complications associated with Motor Neuron Disease (MND), which he faced with courage over thirteen years.

Following his diagnosis, Neale co-founded FightMND, a not-for-profit established to raise awareness of the disease and to fund the research working to overcome it. Alsonex was an early beneficiary of that extraordinary effort, and was proud to receive a grant to advance ALS-205 through preclinical evaluation and into human clinical trials.

We hope to help honour Neale Daniher’s legacy by bringing ALS-205 through clinical trials and on to people living with MND, where it is intended to slow the progression of the disease and improve quality of life.
